What defines success at ADT?

The Residential Service Technician’s primary functions include troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing, and programming existing security and site automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
2. Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
3. Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to establish service.
4. Demonstrate excellent customer service by helping customers understand and fix their security systems.

Position Summary:

The Residential Service Technician troubleshoots and services security systems, advises customers, and conducts inspections. Responsibilities include locating and repairing damaged equipment, reading blueprints, and coordinating inspections with authorities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or similar products
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read electrical and building plans
• Physical ability to stand, stoop, lift, climb, and crawl
• Valid driver’s license
