Our Service Technicians perform multi-functional tasks including inspecting buildings, repairs, framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear on our fleet of modular buildings. A focus on quality and safety is essential for this role!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Follow Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Promote employee health and safety through creating a safer workplace, DuPont STOPâ¢, training, observations, and regular assessments.
• Attend safety meetings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate company vehicles safely with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Fleet & Resource Management:

• Perform repairs to mobile office trailers, including carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
• Inspect off-rented buildings to determine repair needs and damages, create floor plans as needed.
• Perform modifications based on customer requests.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and VAPS needed for service.
• Provide courteous customer service, explaining repairs and services.
• Ensure trailers are ready for delivery on schedule at quality standards.
• Perform yard service tasks as needed.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
• Conduct HVAC checks and maintenance per guidelines.
• Perform duties at field locations as required.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills
• Carpentry experience is required; electrical, plumbing, welding skills are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
