About the Job

Our Service Technicians are multi-functional, inspecting buildings and performing repairs or readiness work including framing, finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more on our fleet of modular buildings. An eye for quality and a commitment to safety are critical for this role!

What You'll Be Doing

Safety/Environment:

• Act in accordance with Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
• Promote employee health and safety through creating a safer workplace, training, observations, and assessments.
• Attend safety meetings regularly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate company vehicle safely with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Fleet & Resource Management:

• Perform repairs to mobile office trailers, including carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear.
• Conduct check-in/out inspections of rented buildings, create floor plans as needed.
• Perform modifications requested by customers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and VAPS.
• Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs and services.
• Ensure trailers are ready for delivery as scheduled.
• Perform yard service tasks as needed.
• Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
• Perform HVAC checks and maintenance per guidelines.
• Undertake duties at field locations as needed.

Education and Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience are pluses.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
