About the Job

Our Service Technicians are multi-functional, inspecting buildings, performing repairs or readiness work including framing and finish carpentry, light electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and more to our fleet of modular buildings. An eye for quality and a commitment to safety is critical for this role!

What You'll Be Doing
Safety/Environment:
  • Act in accordance with Williams Scotsman Safety, Transportation, and Environmental Policies.
  • Lead and promote employee health and safety through creating a safer workplace, DuPont STOPA, training, observations, and regular assessments.
  • Attend safety meetings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely, maintaining a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
Fleet & Efficient Use of Resources:
  • Perform repairs to mobile office trailers including carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, painting, running gear, and other facets of modular building repair.
  • Conduct check-in/out inspections of rented buildings, identify repair needs, and create floor plan drawings as needed.
  • Perform modifications as requested by customers.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, parts, and VAPS.
  • Provide courteous customer service and explain repairs and services.
  • Ensure trailers are ready for delivery with quality standards.
  • Perform yard service tasks as requested.
  • Complete paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
  • Perform HVAC checks and maintenance per guidelines.
  • Perform duties at field locations as needed.
Education and Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and good communication skills.
  • Carpentry knowledge and experience.
  • Electrical, plumbing, and welding experience are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
