Job summary

Commonwealth Equipment Corp in Lewisburg, NC is seeking a Service Tech to diagnose and repair heavy equipment onsite. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, about 40 hours per week, with starting pay of $29/hour depending on experience.

You will inspect faults, replace parts, test performance, perform routine maintenance, and maintain company trucks and tools while following safety rules and delivering excellent customer service to clients on site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test equipment.

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
• Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Additional duties as required
• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
