Job summary

Commonwealth Equipment Corp in Charleston, SC is seeking a Service Tech to inspect, diagnose and repair heavy equipment at customer sites and in shop environments. The role requires hands-on maintenance and reliable performance.

You will lift up to 75 lbs, operate diagnostic equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work site. A valid driver's license and at least two years of service repair experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Minimum 2 years of service repair experience.
• Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools.
• Test repaired equipment for the proper performance.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment.
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Additional duties as required.

40 hours per week

Salary

Starting from $29/hour (depending on experience)

Summary Of Responsibilities
