Job summary

Commonwealth Equipment in Laurel, MD is seeking a Service Tech to diagnose faults, repair and service heavy equipment, and ensure on-site customer satisfaction. You will inspect, diagnose, repair or replace components and test performance, while maintaining safety and organization in the shop and on-site locations.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with service repairs, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
• Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Additional duties as required
• Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools
• Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
• Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
• Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
