Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance.
  • Valid EPA certification and driver's license required.

Position Summary

Performs diagnostic and service work on residential/light commercial HVAC equipment, communicates with customers, promotes products/services, and ensures customer satisfaction. Reports to Field Supervisor or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform service and maintenance calls independently
  • Diagnose and resolve customer issues professionally
  • Service heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration equipment
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Complete maintenance and cleaning
  • Manage parts and equipment logistics
  • Record service details accurately and collect payments
  • Maintain communication with dispatch
  • Provide excellent customer service and promote company offerings
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property and tools
  • Represent the company professionally and ethically
  • Follow procedures for vehicle and warranty parts management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain reliable attendance
Health & Safety Responsibilities
  • Report hazards and unsafe acts
  • Use PPE as prescribed
  • Follow safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives
  • Report injuries or incidents immediately
  • Contribute to safety improvements
  • Work safely and responsibly
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED, with HVAC training and 2-5 years experience
  • Valid licensing/certifications, including EPA
  • Skilled in servicing HVAC systems and troubleshooting electrical, refrigerant, and duct systems
  • Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and operating tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
  • Flexible hours and on-call availability
  • Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 75 lbs
  • Vision and mobility to access HVAC units in various environments
