JB Roofing, A Tecta America Company is currently seeking Commercial Roofing Service Tech II's at our Akron, OH location.

You will work outdoors on flat roofs alongside our Service Foreman. The job involves climbing ladders, bending, and working with various roofing techniques and tools. Training will be provided onsite, and there are opportunities for advancement as you master the basics.

Core Requirements for Commercial Roofing Service Tech II:

• Enjoy working outdoors in a team environment and with nature
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly, along with bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling
• Comfortable working at heights on roofs
• Perform roofing tasks according to specifications and safety guidelines
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

• Estar cómodo trabajando en condiciones climáticas extremas
• Capacidad para levantar más de 50 libras regularmente, subir escaleras y arrodillarse
• Comodidad trabajando en alturas y en techos
• Realizar trabajos de techado según especificaciones y siguiendo pautas de seguridad
• Al menos 18 años de edad
• Licencia de conducir válida

Se valorará:

• Conocimiento de sistemas de techado como BUR, betún modificado, TPO, PVC y otros. Este conocimiento es útil pero no obligatorio.
• Experiencia previa en techado o construcción residencial y/o comercial, aunque no es requisito obligatorio.
