Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. in New Braunfels, TX is hiring a Service Tech I to perform maintenance checks and minor repairs on rental equipment, ensuring safety and readiness for rental use.

You will report conditions to management, assist with equipment and parts delivery, and help manage inventory while delivering strong customer service and teamwork on daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines, Vacuum Trucks, AC Systems, RV Systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and use of relevant tools.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical systems, AC systems, Plumbing, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Manage and Organize Inventory.
• Other duties assigned as needed.
