CoolSys - Refrigeration and HVAC Systems in Augusta, GA is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on a range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role requires EPA Certification, a valid driver’s license, and at least 3 years of commercial HVAC experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC/Refrigeration experience.
• Active EPA Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license must be held.
• CO2 Rack experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, motors, furnaces, boilers, and related components.
• Diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure safe operation of systems across varied industries.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain service documentation for each job.
• Coordinate with customers and team members to complete timely, high-quality service.
• Assist in preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

Responsibilities

The HVAC/R Technician role is primarily responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to a variety of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment including air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers, RTUs, remote condensing units, ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, and upright refrigerators & freezers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician
• Active EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license
• CO2 Rack Experience
• Military Base Background Clearance required
• Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs., climb and balance on a ladder, and work in elevated/high locations.
