Job summary

Spur Chevrolet Buick GMC in Gatesville, TX is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You will perform multi-point inspections, warranty work, and ensure timely delivery of serviced vehicles.

Ideal candidates have automotive training, dealership experience, and a safety-focused mindset, with ASE certifications considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability and at least 18 years old
• A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Experience at an automotive school or program
• 2-3 years of prior dealership experience a plus
• Automotive certificate a plus
• ASE certificates a plus
• Dedication to safety and serving guests
• Positive, fun, team-minded attitude

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues, recommended and safety-oriented, and fix them correctly the first time
• Administer multi-point inspections and warranty repairs
• Service transmissions, air-conditioning, engine mounts, timing belts, and more
• Replace radiators and head gaskets
• Deliver guests' cars on time, every time, as promised
• Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
• Keep workstation clean at all times
• Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships

You'll use your knowledge and skills to keep our guests safe on the road, follow safety procedures and regulations, and contribute to Platinum's reputation for excellence.
