Job summary

Gilchrist Automotive in Ennis, TX is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose mechanical issues, perform multi-point inspections, and complete warranty repairs. You will service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, radiators, and head gaskets while ensuring timely delivery of customers’ vehicles and maintaining clean, safe workspaces.

We value a safety-first mindset, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and automotive program experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license.
• Experience from automotive school or program.
• ASE certificates a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues, recommend and fix them safely on first attempt.
• Perform multi-point inspections and warranty repairs.
• Service transmissions, A/C, engine mounts, timing belts, and more.
• Replace radiators and head gaskets.
• Deliver guests’ cars on time, every time.
• Take detailed notes during and after inspections.
• Keep workstation clean at all times.
• Create and maintain loyal service guest relationships.
