MKS Instruments in Methuen, MA is seeking a Service Support Technician 2 to perform repairs and upgrades to meet customer demands. You will work with the service team and broader cross-functional groups to enable growth and career development.

You will diagnose failures, repair electronic assemblies, and test to sub-assembly level, using established procedures. A high school diploma and 3–5 years in maintenance repair are required; MS Excel, Oracle/SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance repair experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other system software.
• Willingness to work with diverse teams and be cooperative.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performing variety of repairs and upgrades as required on assigned product line(s).
• Building/repairing products to instructions provided in Process Details and Service Bulletins or from approved samples.
• Removing and replacing defective or damaged electronic assemblies.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hardware, and systems failures, using established procedures.
• Testing and evaluating to sub-assembly level.

Skills You Bring:

• A high school diploma
• 3-5 years' experience of maintenance repair in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with MS Excel for data analysis and presentation
• Prior experience with Oracle, SAP, or other system software
• Willingness to work with diverse teams and demonstrate a cooperative, team-first attitude
• Able to lift up to 40lbs

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $18.89 - 31.49 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
