Job summary

Dobbs Equipment in Riviera Beach, FL seeks a Service Support Associate to assist the Service Department with customer service needs, manage work orders, and support shop and field operations for equipment repair and delivery.

Candidates should have strong organization, communication, and computer skills; a valid driver's license and forklift certification are required; supervision experience is a plus. The role is full-time and on-site at our Riviera Beach location.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent with post-secondary education in heavy equipment is preferred; or two years of mechanical experience as a service technician.
• A 2-year degree and familiarity with industrial equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle service department calls and advise customers on technical problems.
• Assist in scheduling shop and field service work and manage work orders.
• Support in appraisal and quotes for repair work with service manager.
• Assist in processing warranty claims and adjusting work procedures to meet schedules.
• Supervise shop activities when Service Manager is away.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.

Education
