Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Supervisor who is enthusiastic, results-driven and forward-thinking. You will join a dynamic team and help grow our service base while delivering world-class customer service.

This role can be field-based or office-based in Urbandale, IA, with responsibilities spanning supervision, resource management and cost control to ensure safety, quality and satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of field service or project management experience and prior

Responsibilities

• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators and Inspectors in service delivery.
• Maximize customer satisfaction by executing all commitments on CSPs, time and material, parts sales and other service duties.
• Manage resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for delivery and expansion of the service base.
• Oversee financial impact through growth and delivery of service products in the local market.

• Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all Convergint Technologies commitments on Customer Service Programs (CSPs), time and material, parts sales and other service duties.
• This is a line position that is either field‑or office‑based and is responsible for the effective management of resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for the delivery and expansion of the existing service base.
• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators, and/or Inspectors in all aspects of service delivery.
• The financial impact is measured in the growth and delivery of Service products in the local CTC market.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model - guide, develop and mentor others within the department.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control (e.g. gross margin calculations).
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
• Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• 3-5 years of field service, project management or relevant engineering
• Previous supervisory
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
