Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic Service Supervisor in Austin, TX to lead field service delivery and drive customer satisfaction.

You will supervise Field Specialists, Service Coordinators, and Inspectors, managing resources, costs, safety and quality to grow our service base while upholding Convergint's culture of integrity and accountability. You’ll partner with customers to ensure timely, compliant service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Possesses leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong financial acumen including cost control and margins.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Developing project management experience in technical environments.

Responsibilities

• Maximize customer satisfaction by delivering on service commitments and CSPs.
• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Coordinators, and Inspectors in service delivery.
• Manage resources, costs, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction for service delivery and expansion of the base.
• Drive growth and delivery of service products in the local market (CTC).
• Perform other duties as required.

• Responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by effectively executing all Convergint Technologies commitments on Customer Service Programs (CSPs), time and material, parts sales and other service duties.
• This is a line position that is either field- or office-based and is responsible for the effective management of resources, costs, safety, quality assurance and customer satisfaction for the delivery and expansion of the existing service base.
• Supervise Field Specialists, Service Specialists, Service Coordinators, and/or Inspectors in all aspects of service delivery.
• The financial impact is measured in the growth and delivery of Service products in the local CTC market.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Leadership Orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model - guide, develop and mentor others within the department.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control (e.g. gross margin calculations).
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
• Developing project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

Requirements

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Preferred Experience: (but not required):

• 3-5 years of field service, project management or relevant engineering
• Previous supervisory
• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
