Job summary

Ohio Cat is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead our technician team at the Oakwood RS operation. You will oversee shop and field service activities, schedule and prioritize work, and help ensure a safe, profitable operation.

You will also assist in preparing customer quotes and reviewing work orders prior to invoicing. Responsibilities include taking calls from customers, enforcing company policies and strategies as they pertain to Equipment Builds, Equipment Service, and Field Service.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the shop service team to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Schedule and prioritize work in the Oakwood shop and field service.
• Assist in providing quotes for customers and reviewing work orders before invoicing.
• Answer phone calls from internal and external customers and support policy implementation.

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Service Supervisor for technician management and service support for our Oakwood RS operation. This position includes working with our team to schedule and prioritize work performed in the Oakwood shop and field service work, leading the shop service team to ensure an efficient, safe, and profitable operation, and assisting in providing quotes for customers and reviewing work orders before invoicing. This role will take phone calls from internal and external customers and assist in the implementation of company policies and business strategies as they pertain to the Equipment Builds, Equipment Service, and Field Service work.

Hours:

7am-4pm

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have three to five years of industry experience.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC equipment is required.
• Must have prior supervisory experience.

Keycompetencies

• Must possess the ability to read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits, understand all types of HVAC systems and how each component works, and help troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems.
• Must possess the ability to handle multiple work assignments and multi-task.
• Strong computer skills, verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills are required.
• Must be able to prioritize work and technician assignments and work closely with other internal and external customers to ensure quality products.
• Must possess accountability, detail orientation, diversity orientation, a cheerful demeanor, loyalty, responsibility, and safety awareness.
• The ability to consistently exceed all relevant performance standards, foster teamwork, and generate top-quality work is required.
• Must be highly productive, innovative, and responsive.

Physical Requirements
