Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hard-working Service Route Driver for a full-time, Monday–Friday 1st shift position. You will load, transport, and deliver products to client locations while maintaining proper refrigeration and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport and deliver products.
• Load and unload products as requested and place stock on shelves or vending machines.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise and payments from machines.
• Maintain a positive customer interaction with eye contact and smiles.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines and care for the vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-time. This position is Monday - Friday, 1st Shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:
