Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Sidney, OH is seeking a Service Route Driver to load, transport, and deliver products to client locations, ensuring cold chain compliance and accurate inventory. The role requires a friendly, safety-conscious professional with strong time management and customer service skills.

You will maintain vehicles, restock machines, collect payments where applicable, and provide positive service experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required) with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive a vehicle to transport products to client locations.
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines (coins and bills).
• Communicate positively with customers by eye contact and a smile.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Maintain the care of the company vehicle.

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts

Requirements:
