AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to join our team in Indiana. You will load and deliver products to client locations, stock shelves in vending machines, and ensure proper refrigeration and inventory control. Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record (CDL not required).
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with products for service locations.
• Drive to client locations and deliver, load, and unload products.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold foods in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and inventory control of merchandise.
• Collect unsold items and payments from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
