Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a dependable Service Route Driver for Mansfield, OH. The role requires early starts (4am) and a Monday–Friday schedule, with responsibilities including loading vehicles, delivering to client locations, and managing inventory.

The ideal candidate is 21+, has a valid driver's license (CDL not required), can pass the DOT Physical, and can lift up to 50 pounds. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with strong product promotion and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Maintain refrigeration of all cold food items in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering and control inventory; collect unsold items.
• Collect money from machines; interact positively with customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage care and maintenance of the company vehicle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
