Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Service Route Driver in Chillicothe, OH. The role starts at 5am, Monday through Friday with no weekends.

You will load, drive, deliver and stock products to client locations, maintain vehicle condition, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring product freshness and proper inventory control. Qualifications

• Must be 21+ to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport products to client locations.
• Deliver, load and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves and manage inventory at accounts.
• Ensure refrigeration of cold products in truck and at accounts.
• Collect money from machines where applicable.
• Maintain vehicle and perform routine sanitation.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver in Chillicothe, OH. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, starting at 5am. NO weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently
