Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly and hard-working individual to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-Time, based in Ashburn, VA. The driver will load the truck, service multiple locations, deliver products, and manage inventory while maintaining refrigeration and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid license, a clean driving record, the ability to pass the DOT physical, and strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL not required.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong customer service and promotional skills.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Load the company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Maintain refrigeration of all cold items in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and manage inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect payments from machines (coins and bills).
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team members.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage the care and use of the company vehicle.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Service Route Driver, Full-Time. This position is located in Ashburn, VA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver's license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
