Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Service Route Driver to service client locations in Indiana. You will load a vehicle, transport products, deliver and stock items, and maintain refrigeration at sites. The role emphasizes customer interaction and efficient route management.

Requirements include 21+ years, a valid license (no CDL needed), ability to pass DOT Physical, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A strong, independent work ethic and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license; a CDL is not required; maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and AVI team members.
• Ability to work independently and utilize time efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is properly loaded with products to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Deliver, load, and unload products as requested.
• Stock shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold products in truck and at accounts.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Collect money from machines.
• Communicate positively with customers and AVI team.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts.
• Manage care of the company vehicle.

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle
