Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Review new service (maintenance) contracts signed within a month, review the setup of each contract within the ERP system (SAP), and prepare supporting documents for SOX purposes.
2. Create service revenue amortization schedules for all new service contracts by processing them through the revenue module (RAR) within SAP and perform service revenue analysis.
3. Release service revenue and perform service revenue reconciliation, i.e., comparison of revenue module (RAR) posting vs GL posting (monthly).
4. Prepare quarterly service revenue analysis (service rollout report, RAR posting vs GL posting).
5. Reconcile all deferred revenue accounts related to service and warranty and unearned interest account (quarterly only).
6. Set up warranty in SAP upon installation of new systems and create revenue schedules by processing them through RAR.
7. Update service tracker files upon signing new service contracts and upgrades or service quotes.
8. Process revenue for upgrades shipped or service quotes completed within a quarter.
9. Review analysis of not credit-worthy customers prepared by AR team for proposed service revenue adjustment (quarterly only).
10. Execute the monthly close and reporting cycles following the company timeline.
11. Prepare and upload to SAP revenue adjusting entries.
12. Work with the IT team to resolve any issues with posting revenue properly in RAR.
13. Assist in annual standalone selling price analysis for service contracts.
14. Provide supporting documents for interim and annual SOX and audit testing.
15. Prepare SEC schedules for 10K reporting.
16. Other duties as needed.
