Job summary

Jefferson Regional is seeking a Service Rep to ensure residents' dietary needs and to assist with the assembly and service of meals to patients and guests. The role emphasizes customer relations, teamwork, resource conservation, and quality improvement to enhance the patient experience.

The position is Safety Sensitive and may require schedule adjustments to meet departmental needs within the Nutritional Services Department. Prior food service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of food service experience preferred.
• One year of cashier experience in food service preferred.
• Culinary training and nutritional knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and meal tracking preferred.
• Knowledge in food safety and sanitation standards preferred.
• General math skills and legible handwriting for reports.
• Verbal and public relation skills necessary to relate effectively with others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diets.
