Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr seeks a Service Rep in the Nutritional Services Department to ensure residents receive their dietary needs. You will assemble and serve meals to patients and guests, promote strong customer relations, conserve resources, and support quality improvement to enhance the patient experience.

The role requires teamwork, basic math, and familiarity with computer systems for meal tracking.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of food service experience preferred.
• One year of cashier experience in food service preferred.
• Culinary training and nutritional knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and meal tracking preferred.
• Knowledge in food safety and sanitation standards preferred.
• General math skills and legible handwriting for reports.
• Verbal and public relation skills necessary to relate effectively with others.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic nutrition and special diets.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
