Job summary

Jefferson Regional Med Ctr in Pine Bluff, AR seeks a Team Leader of Nutritional Services to oversee dietary operations for residents, supervise and train staff, and ensure competency while monitoring performance and cash handling.

HS diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree in nutrition/food services preferred; SerSafe required; CDM certification preferred; 1 year in team roles and 2 years in kitchen or retail; strong communication, organization, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nutrition, Food Services Management, or other related field preferred.
• Enrolled in an approved Dietary Manager Course and certification preferred.
• SerSafe Certification required.
• Certified Dietary Manager Certification preferred.
• 1 year experience in team positions.
• 2 years’ experience in commercial kitchen or retail.
• Ability to solve problems and communicate with others.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• A customer service oriented approach to work, ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Preferred: at least 2 years in management in healthcare or commercial kitchen; culinary training; healthcare setting; familiarity with food services software.

What You Should Know About the Team Leader- Nutritional Services:

• Typical hours are 11:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays possible.
• This position is based within Jefferson Regional Nutritional Services Department

Job Summary:

The Team Leader of Nutritional Services is responsible for ensuring the dietary needs of all residents. This position supervises, trains, and educates employees to ensure competency; continuously improve quality of nutritional services. Monitors to assure team members and self are performing job functions accurately. Responsible for accurate keeping of cash. Ensures proper procedures are followed-safe and cashier counting.

Team Leader- Nutritional Services Qualifications:
