Job summary

Wachter, Inc. in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking an experienced Service Project Manager to oversee service operations across voice/data, security, low voltage, or electrical sectors.

You will coordinate service delivery, develop field teams, and drive operational success through communication and organization. The role emphasizes leadership in a fast-paced environment, ownership, and delivering exceptional service to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Project management and/or service account management experience.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.
• Experience with high-ticket volume service accounts.
• Electrical and Service Channel experience required.
• Experience in CAT5, Telecommunications, Fiber, Construction, or Structure Cabling IT.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the Service Team to ensure service practices and expectations are met.
• Mentor and develop leaders within the team.
• Oversee daily operational tasks including interviews, hiring, resource assignment, and payroll approval.
• Develop, execute, and adjust service account plans with communications and reporting.
• Manage risk, issues, changes, SLA, training, and quality control plans.
• Create budgets and manage project scheduling and billing.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Client reps on SLA documentation.
• Act as primary client contact for ongoing service and new business opportunities.
