Job summary

Honda of Serramonte, part of the Sonic Automotive family, seeks a Service Porter to support the Service Department. You’ll move and present vehicles, assist service staff, and maintain a safe, efficient, clean service area with professional customer service.

Reliable and punctual with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Full-time, Monday–Saturday with Sundays off. We offer comprehensive benefits and ongoing training within Sonic Automotive's growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety.
• Reliable, punctual, able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and assist with directing vehicles to designated service areas.
• Transport customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the service drive, parking lot, and dealership property.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of service lanes, parking areas, customer waiting areas, and dealership grounds.
• Assist service advisors and technicians by locating, staging, and delivering vehicles as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle preparation tasks, including washing, vacuuming, fueling, and inspecting vehicles prior to customer delivery.
• Monitor lot organization and ensure vehicles are parked in designated locations to maximize operational efficiency.
• Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures while providing professional and courteous customer service.
