Job summary

Group 1 Honda Greenbelt, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking a Service Porter to help move vehicles, keep the lot organized, and assist service and sales teams.

You will drive dealership vehicles, ensure clean quarters, provide transportation for customers, and follow all safety policies; Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate automotive vehicles.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
• Adapt to a changing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated spots in the service area lot and for pickup.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order and assist Sales/Service as needed.
• Clean service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized.

Overview

Group 1 Honda Greenbelt is part of fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add a qualified Service Porterto our team.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order.
• Assist Sales and/or Service department as needed
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management.
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturday's
• Ability to operate automotive vehicles.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude
• Ability to adapt to an everchanging retail environment
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Maryland driver license and a good driving record.

Compensation: The pay for this position is $16 - $18per hour based on experience
