Job summary

Group 1 Honda Greenbelt is seeking a Service Porter to support vehicle movement, lot maintenance, and customer transport at our Greenbelt service area. This role requires a positive, friendly attitude and the ability to operate automotive vehicles in a fast-paced retail environment.

The position offers hourly pay of $16–$18 based on experience, with benefits including health and retirement options. Saturday work required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Ability to operate automotive vehicles.
• Ability to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to adapt to an everchanging retail environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Maryland driver license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order.
• Assist Sales and/or Service department as needed.
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management.
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
