Job summary

Group 1 Automotive's Hilton Head BMW unit is seeking a Service Porter to support a high‑volume service team. You will move vehicles, assist with cleanliness and safety, and help customers get to and from the service area. A reliable driver with a clean record is essential.

The role offers an hourly wage of $15 and benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, PTO, and career growth opportunities within a leading automotive retailer.

Qualifications

• 3) Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles to designated spots in service area and customer pickup.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles after service.
• Maintains service areas as directed by management.
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Monitors traffic flow in service lots.
• Follows all safety policies and reports accidents.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Overview

Hilton Head BMWis part of the fast-growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive sales and service. Our service department is expanding sowe are needing to add a Service Porter to work with our award-winning team representing the BMW brand! Our Service Porter should be passionate about customer service and enjoy interacting with people throughout the working day.

Hourly rate for this position is $15/hr

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed
• Maintain service and other areas as directed by management
• Provides transportation for customers
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager
• Other duties may be assigned by management

Qualifications

• Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
