Job summary

Group 1 Hyundai College Park is seeking a friendly Service Porter to move dealership vehicles, keep lots organized and support service and sales teams. The role involves driving vehicles to service bays, assisting customers, and maintaining overall lot order.

Candidates should have a valid Maryland driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Compensation ranges from $16 to $21 per hour, with benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and

• Valid Maryland driver license and a good driving record.
• Ability to operate automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated parking spots in our service area lot and to the service area for customer pickup.
• General cleanup of vehicles after service work is completed.
• Maintain lot order.
• Assist Sales and/or Service department as needed
• Cleans service and other areas as directed by management.
• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and organized as directed by management.
• Provides transportation for customers.
• Must be alert of traffic flow in service lots.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.

Group 1 Hyundai College Park is part of fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and we are looking to add a qualified Service Porter to our team.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $16 - $21 per hour based on experience
