Job summary

Carter Myers Automotive (CMA) is hiring a Service Porter for the Service Department in Lexington Park, MD. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with customers, staying active, and taking pride in their work. You will help keep the service lane running smoothly and ensure a clean, professional customer experience.

Typical hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays. Compensation is $17 per hour plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to safely drive and operate different types of vehicles.
• Reliable, hardworking, and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Friendly and customer-focused.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Move and park customer vehicles safely.
• Wash, dry, and prepare vehicles for customer pickup.
• Keep the service lane, parking areas, and dealership grounds clean and organized.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Help Service Advisors and Technicians with daily tasks.
• Follow dealership safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Service Porter Overview

CMA's Toyota of Lexington Park is hiring a Service Porter to join our growing Service Department! This is a great entry-level automotive job for someone who enjoys working with people, staying active, and taking pride in their work.

As a Service Lane Porter, you'll help keep our service department running smoothly while making sure customers receive a clean, professional experience when they visit our dealership.

Compensation

$17 per hour + performance bonuses

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday plus alternating Saturdays
• Typical schedule: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
