Service Porter– JC Lewis Motor Company

Location: Savannah, GA

JC Lewis Motor Company is seeking a dependable and energetic Vehicle Porter to support our service department with vehicle movement, cleanliness, and customer interactions. Position Overview

The Vehicle Porter plays a critical role in daily dealership operations by moving and cleaning vehicles, maintaining an orderly drive lane, and providing key support to the vehicle manager and service advisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and escort them to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe Drive Lane by removing oil, dirt, and debris.
• Park customer vehicles in the designated service lot and organize keys properly.
• Retrieve and pull vehicles around for customers as needed.
• Assist with the Service Shuttle and valet services.
• Clean, fuel, and maintain the dealership’s loaner vehicle fleet.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently or with a team.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
