Lithia Body & Paint is hiring a Detailer/Porter in Medford, OR. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour and goes up with experience. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, supporting a busy collision repair team and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in top condition.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, cleaning vehicles, inspecting for defects, applying protective packages, and maintaining a clean work area while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; 18 years or older.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Clean exterior and interior of vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for defects and restore appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces.
• Prepare and apply vehicle protection packages.
• Ensure work is completed according to safety measures.
• Restore appearance of vehicles to a like-new condition.
• Review repairs before delivering the vehicle to ensure quality.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome all customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist all customers promptly and professionally.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel cover, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Responsible for cleaning of the exterior and interior of the vehicle.
• Clean engine and engine compartments
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects and restoring the appearance of engine are, rugs, upholstery and painted surfaces.
• Responsible for preparation and applications of vehicle protection packages.
• Must complete all work assignments according to applicable safety measures.
• Restoring appearance of vehicles to new or like-new condition to the best of your ability.
• Review repairs before delivering vehicle to customer to ensure quality of work.
• Bring any issues with the work performed to the attention of your supervisor.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
