Job summary

Suburban Cadillac of Plymouth, part of Lithia & Driveway, is hiring a Service Porter to keep the service lot organized and support the service team. You will greet customers, help keep vehicles moving between lanes and parking areas, and assist with clerical tasks as needed.

We value attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and clear communication. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required to safely handle vehicle transport and parking operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older.
• Acceptable driving record with a valid driver's license in the resident state.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats in vehicles arriving for service.
• Identify the service advisor for each appointment and notify that advisor.
• Drive vehicles from the service lane to proper places in the service parking lot.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the advisor.
• Maintain the parking lot and work area in a neat, organized condition.
• Assist the Service Receptionist with incoming calls in a professional manner.
• Assist Shuttle driver as needed.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by service management.
• Report safety or integrity concerns to management.
