Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in The Treasure Valley. We are looking for a Service Porter to join our Reconditioning team at our new Overland Service Center. Our Reconditioning Center is a fast-paced environment serving all Kendall dealerships in The Treasure Valley area.

Our Porters work in a fast-paced environment, making sure vehicles are arriving and departing to the appropriate store locations. Porters are trusted to drive Kendall vehicles safely and represent the Kendall brand. We offer ample opportunities for career advancement; whether you’re interested in service or sales, this position will allow you to enter the auto industry and find the right career path.
Job duties include moving and parking vehicles frequently, driving vehicles to other Kendall locations within the Treasure Valley, and occasionally obtaining information for vehicles and repair orders, retrieving parts and supplies, washing the exterior of vehicles, vacuuming interiors of vehicles, and performing janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
This position works both indoors and outdoors, in a shop environment greeting customers in the service drive. Standing and walking are required for up to 75% of the work shift, with bending, twisting, and kneeling required primarily for getting in and out of vehicles.
Work is performed equally inside and outside. The majority of job duties will be completed via standing or walking, though bending and twisting will occur frequently to enter and exit vehicles. Lifting 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds will be required.
