Compensation: $16.00/hr

How Do Our Service Porters Drive Impact?

• Transport customers to and from their destinations such as home or work
• Wash vehicles for technicians and customers, then park them outside upon completion
• Relocate vehicles from the service drive to maintain clear drive aisles
• Valet cars to the front for customers when called by the cashier or technician
• Prepare rental vehicles by cleaning, fueling, and ensuring readiness for the next day
• During winter, bring rentals inside at night and clean off snow or ice
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment in the service area, shop, and parking lots
• Inspect lot to ensure vehicles are facing the correct direction
• Assist with service driver operations as directed by advisors and management
• Ensure the shop is tidy and prepared for cleaning staff at night
• Carry a radio and shuttle phone at all times, responding promptly to calls
• Support the parts department with pickup and delivery of parts as needed
• Remain present in the service drive when not engaged in specific tasks to greet customers and move cars
• Maintain a positive, courteous attitude at all times
• Always wear safety eyewear and slip-resistant, hard-toed shoes in the dealership's service areas

We're Looking For:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience in sales is preferred
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong customer service, sales, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
