Job summary

Toyota And Hyundai Of Greensburg is seeking a courteous Valet to create an extraordinary client experience by parking and retrieving service vehicles in a friendly, professional manner.

You will greet clients, escort them to lounges, ensure drive is clear, and assist with luggage transfer while upholding dealership policies and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years business experience or equivalent.
• Positive, friendly attitude and customer-service mindset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test, and valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and escort to service lounge.
• Park and retrieve cars for clients.
• Find and install license plates.
• Notify ASM if a client is waiting.
• Keep service drive clear of vehicles.
• Adhere to dealership vehicle care policies.
• Assist clients with luggage or packages.
• Help technicians move operable/inoperable vehicles.
• Report any damage to managers.
• Maintain a clean service drive.
• Other duties as assigned.

Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of the Valet position is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. The Valet will park and retrieve service clients' cars in a friendly and professional manner.

Job Duties

• Greets clients and escorts client to appropriate service member or customer lounge.
• Parks cars in designated areas and retrieves cars for clients.
• Finds and installs license plates.
• Notifies Assistant Service Manager (ASM) if client is waiting.
• Keeps service drive free of vehicles.
• Maintains strict adherence to dealership policy on client vehicle care and operation.
• Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between cars.
• Assists techs in moving inoperable vehicles.
• Alerts Manager to any damage to clients’ vehicles.
• Assists with keeping the service drive clean and clear of debris.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years of business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality.
• Enjoy working in a fact paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment varies from low to moderate and on occasion high. Driving & traffic conditions will vary mild to heavy.
