Position Overview

J.C. Lewis Motor Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Service Porter to join our team. This position plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by moving and cleaning vehicles, maintaining the cleanliness of dealership facilities, and assisting the Service Manager with day-to-day operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and escort them to a Service Advisor
• Maintain a clean and organized Drive Lane, including removal of oil and debris
• Safely park customer vehicles in the service lot and properly manage keys
• Retrieve vehicles for customers and assist with shuttle and valet services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Maintenance Shops
• Store used tires in the designated areas
• Keep service area trash cans emptied and work areas clean
• Ensure overall cleanliness of the service drive
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
  
  

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for vehicle handling
  
  

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, customer-focused automotive dealership
• Exposure to vehicle exhaust, noise, and weather conditions
• Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
