Job description

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter to join our team at our Toyota Cleveland Heights dealership. Responsibilities:

1. Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt transportation to customers while the customer’s vehicle is being serviced or repaired.
2. Pick up and deliver packages, parts, or mail to the facility and run errands for the facility.
3. Drive defensively and comply with all motor vehicle laws.
4. Maintain cleanliness of vehicle. Recommend repairs/maintenance work to management. Ensure registration and license tags are current.
5. Ensure all occupants wear seatbelts. Child restraint seats must be used in accordance with local law.
6. Pick-up and deliver company-owned vehicles to dealerships and auctions.
7. Ensure that vehicles are delivered in the same condition they were received and deliver necessary paperwork and keys to appropriate personnel.
8. Obtain proper paperwork and keys from the selling party and return to the General Manager.
9. Ensure sign-off forms are completed and maintain possession of dealer plates, returning them to the General Manager.
10. Turn in expense reports and receipts in a timely manner to the General Manager.
11. Notify the General Manager about any incidents, including speeding tickets, light obstructions, etc.
12. Notify the General Manager about all drivability issues and damage to vehicles.
13. Complete all training as directed by the supervisor.
14. Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned.
