The Otter Squad Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is seeking a skilled Service Plumber to join our high-performing team serving the Pleasanton, CA area. If you take pride in top-tier service, love solving plumbing challenges, and are ready to lead jobs from start to finish — this is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead residential and commercial service calls and installations (e.g., water heaters, hydro jetting, sewer repairs)
• Conduct sewer camera inspections and PSL inspections
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex plumbing issues on-site
• Provide professional estimates and recommendations to customers
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and quality standards

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-6 years of documented, hands-on plumbing experience in residential and/or commercial service.
• Leadership Potential: Demonstrated ability to manage job sites, make sound decisions, and guide projects from start to finish.
• Technical Proficiency: Solid skills in core plumbing tasks, particularly water heater service/installation and familiarity with modern techniques like trenchless repair methods.
• Certification: (Not required) Completion of a PHCC program or equivalent accredited training is a strong plus.
• Must possess a personal set of basic and/or professional-grade plumbing hand tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (documentation required).

Compensation

• $31–$37/hr, depending on experience and certifications
