Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Service Plumber to perform day-to-day plumbing tasks on assigned projects.

You will ensure quality and customer satisfaction, interact with foremen and other trades, and contribute to maintaining a qualified workforce in varying weather conditions. The position requires 3–5 years of experience in light commercial or residential plumbing, blueprints literacy, and backflow certification (or progress toward it).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of light commercial and/or residential plumbing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Backflow certification (or working towards)
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation
• Ability to fabricate offsets and work with hand/power tools

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, install, and repair pipes and fixtures per standards and code.
• Assist with and operate pump trucks and related equipment.
• Test pipes with water/air to detect issues.
• Safely cut, thread, glue, solder, braze, and slope pipes.
• Provide guidance to apprentices/helpers.
• Install hangers and supports for plumbing systems
• Perform other duties as assigned
