Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Service Plumber to join our team in Virginia Beach.

You will work on day-to-day plumbing tasks on light commercial and residential projects, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction while coordinating with foremen and other trades. The role involves laying out, assembling, installing, and repairing pipes and fixtures, testing systems, fabricating offsets, and guiding apprentices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' light commercial and/or residential plumbing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Backflow certified (or working towards certification).
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Ability to fabricate offsets.
• Safe working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Able to install equipment.
• Capable of multi-tasking and following written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, equipment, and fixtures to standards.
• Assist with pumping out, maintaining, and pump truck maintenance.
• Test pipes and fixtures to detect deficiencies.
• Measure, cut, thread, glue, solder, braze, and slope pipes safely.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and helpers.
• Install hangers and supports for plumbing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
