Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Service Plumber to perform day-to-day plumbing tasks and ensure quality and customer satisfaction on projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role reports to the foreman and operates under supervision in various weather conditions, often at heights.

Responsibilities include layout, installation, testing, and maintenance of heating, cooling, domestic water, air, drainage systems, and gas lines, while coordinating with upper management and other trades to build

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' light commercial and/or residential plumbing experience or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation
• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Able to multi-task and follow instructions with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, equipment, and fixtures according to standards and codes
• Assist with and perform pump-out and maintenance of pits and pump trucks
• Test pipes and fixtures to detect deficiencies
• Install equipment and hangers for plumbing systems
• Provide guidance to apprentices/helpers
• Work in varying temperatures and heights while maintaining safety
