Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Service Plumber to perform day-to-day plumbing tasks, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. This role interfaces with management and trades to maintain a qualified workforce, reports to foreman, and operates under supervision in varied weather and heights.

Essential duties include installing and repairing heating, cooling, domestic water, gas, and drainage systems, reading blueprints, and mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' light commercial/residential plumbing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Backflow certification in progress or obtained.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Able to fabricate offsets; safe with tools.
• Able to install and service equipment.
• Capable of multi-tasking with limited supervision.
• Reliable with attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, equipment and fixtures per codes.
• Assist, pump out, maintain pits, and perform pump truck maintenance.
• Test pipes/fixtures for leaks using water/air.
• Measure, cut, thread, join, and slope pipes of various materials.
• Guide apprentices and helpers on site.
• Install hangers and supports for plumbing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
