Job summary

Woods Comfort Systems is seeking a self-motivated Service Plumber to diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues and to drive drain-related sales. This full-time role offers uncapped pay potential with commission, plus comprehensive benefits.

You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, ensuring code compliance and high customer satisfaction. A plumbing license or equivalent apprenticeship is preferred, with 3–5 years in the field. San Marcos, TX area.”

Qualifications

• 3-5 years plumbing experience preferred.
• Plumbing degree, tradesman or journeyman license, or apprenticeship.
• Drain sales/service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues.
• Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues.
• Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
• Interact professionally and honestly with customers to explain plumbing concerns and solutions.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of services, including before/after photos.
• Educate customers on best practices for their plumbing systems.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and attend safety trainings.

Who you are:

• 3-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred
• Plumbing degree, Tradesman or Journeyman license, or apprenticeship
• Drain Sales / Service Experience Preferred
• Service Sales Experience preferred
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
